Terms and Conditions

Our courses are taught by qualified, practicing midwives, who only give general educational advice about pregnancy, childbirth and new baby care. Individual particular advice on your own current pregnancy and wellbeing cannot be given under any circumstances and clients must take queries about their own personal health or pregnancy to their treating midwife, general practitioner, obstetrician or other appropriate health professional.

The Baby On Board courses have been designed to be up to date and factually correct at the time of teaching and to represent the current accepted professional standards with regard to general maternity advice.

Baby On Board cannot accept responsibility or liability for any loss, damage or injury to any person or property arising out of or resulting from attendance at our classes. You are particularly advised to take care of all personal property and possessions.

Baby On Board courses have been designed as a supplement to the information, advice and general instruction offered by your treating medical team. All course material provided is for general information purposes only and should not under any circumstances be construed in any way as being particular individual medical advice or instruction.

Baby On Board reserves the right to decline any application to attend any of its classes.

If you, or your partner, feel unwell whilst in attendance at the sessions you should immediately seek the advice of your midwife, general practitioner or other appropriate health professional.

Once your payment has been received we will send you a confirmation email.

Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your antenatal course booking at any time by letting us know of the cancellation by email. We will acknowledge receipt of your cancellation by return email within two days of receipt.

If you cancel more than one month before the start of the course then you will receive a full refund less €25 to cover our administration costs. If you cancel between one month and 14 days before the start of the course, you will receive a 75% refund.  And if you cancel less than 14 days before the start of the course then no refund will be given. However, under exceptional circumstances (such as the premature arrival of your baby), we can offer a full refund at any point up until the course begins.

We require a minimum number of participants to run the courses. If for any reason these numbers are not reached then we may need to cancel your booking. If we do, we will always try to offer you a suitable alternative. If you choose not to accept this, we will offer you a full refund.

If you miss a session we will do our best to get the information to you in another way, however we are only able to facilitate a make-up session if we have availability on another course. You are welcome to check in with us before the start of your course to see whether we could facilitate a make-up session for you.

If you do miss a session, we suggest that you and your partner read up on any missed topics in the Baby On Board course handbook and approach your instructor with any questions you may have at the next session.

If for any reason Baby On Board needs to reschedule a session you will be given as much notice as possible. In the unlikely event that the course venue needs to be altered, any new venue will be located within 8 km of the original. In these circumstances no refund will be offered.

Under exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel your booking. If we do, we will always try to offer you a suitable alternative. If you choose not to accept this, we will offer you a full refund.
