Price is for the birthing person plus any birth partner. Join our comprehensive Prenatal Course and prepare for labour and birth in one weekend. Whether it’s your first baby or you want a refresher, this course is made for you. This course is suitable for first-time parents receiving their education on postpartum, babycare and feeding elsewhere. This course is also great for second/third/fourth time parents who are only interested in understanding how birth is different in Spain and/or prepare for a different type of birth this time around (e.g. VBAC). 👶 What you'll get: - Expert, midwife-led guidance in English on labour, and birth - A unique course created by expat birth professionals and taught by a registered bi-lingual midwife - Tailored support for foreign parents navigating birth and the Spanish system (Spanish parents also welcome!) - Live sessions in Madrid - A friendly, supportive group of other English-speaking parents - A fun in-person social event to build your village in Madrid* 💡 Extras included with your booking: 📘 The Baby On Board Course Guide – your full companion to the course 📝 Baby Registering Guide – everything you need to know about Spanish admin: birth registration, maternity pay, NIE, healthcare card, passport, Padron 💸 Up to 90% reimbursement may be possible through your private health insurance policy– check with your provider 📅 Schedule: Saturday: 10:30–13:00 – Pregnancy & Labour 14:00 - 17:00 – Birth Tuesday: 19:00–21:00 – In-person social meet-up in Madrid 🗓️ Recommended for due dates October to November 2026 (but flexible – contact us if unsure) ✨ Reserve your spot now and feel confident, informed, and supported heading into parenthood. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your booking at any time by letting us know by email. We will acknowledge receipt of your cancellation by return email within two days of receipt. If you have paid a deposit to secure your place, your deposit is non-refundable if you cancel at any point, unless there are exceptional circumstances (such as the premature arrival of your baby/babies*). Once you have paid the full course cost - if you have cancel more than one month before the start of the course you will receive a full refund minus the deposit. If you cancel between one month and 14 days before the start of the course you will receive a 75% refund of the remainder of the course cost, after the deposit has been deducted. And if you cancel less than 14 days before the course is due to start, no refund will be given. In case of the premature arrival of your baby or babies*, we can offer a full refund at any point up UNTIL the course begins. * Premature arrival is classed as before 37 weeks gestation for single babies or 34 weeks gestation for multiples
