Paediatric First Aid Workshop

This class is designed for anyone who would like to learn basic first aid and emergency life-saving knowledge in English. The class is suitable for parents, grandparents, and any other caregivers. To enable them to feel confident about how to act in a serious accident or medical emergency involving a baby or child. We cover techniques for babies 0-12 months and children 1 - 12 years. You will learn: - CPR & recovery positions - Choking - Poisoning - Burns - Febrile seizures - Meningitis - Bumps to the head - Broken bones - Drowning - Wound management: bleeding & bandaging Taught by Healthcare Professionals, trained in Neonatal and Paediatric First Aid techniques. We practice hands-on life-saving techniques with approved mannequins and demo dolls, and monitor all attendees closely to make sure technique is correct!
