Service Description
This class is designed for anyone who would like to learn basic first aid and emergency life-saving knowledge in English. The class is suitable for parents, grandparents, babysitters or carers, to enable them to feel confident about how to act in an accident or emergency situation involving a baby or child. The class will cover: - CPR & recovery positions - Choking -Drowning - Poisoning - Burns - Febrile seizures - Meningitis - Bumps to the head - Broken bones - Wound management: bleeding & bandaging Taught by Registered Nurse and Midwife qualified in Neonatal Resuscitation and Paediatric First Aid techniques. The price is PER PERSON. Babies under 12 months old are welcome to join (free of charge of course!).
